    A one-hour ballet class for anyone over 12 years old, including adults, without the structure of a graded syllabus.

    The class is for beginners to ballet and is based on simple exercises and sequences, with the aim of developing techniques and skills, without the pressure of training for a formal exam. Attendees may progress to Senior Improvers Ballet.

  • Theatre Arts

    A 45-minute class for children who enjoy acting, singing and dancing.

    The aim of the class is to develop skills in preparation for performing scenes at the Parabola Arts Centre three times per year.

    Four classes are available: Level 1 (ages 4-7), Level 2 (ages 7-10) and Level 3 (ages 10-13).

  • Theatre Workshop

    Fun two-hour classes for girls and boys based on a variety of activities including Street Dance, Musical Theatre, Jazz, and other simple dance movements.

    The aim of the class is to prepare and master short dances in a variety of theatrical styles, to build confidence and sense of performance. Children will be offered the chance to perform some short dances for parents at Darley House at the end of the term (subject to teacher and studio availability).

    The class is offered at primary (ages 5-9), junior (ages 8-11) and intermediate (ages 10-14) levels.

    Optional ballet or tap classes can be offered before and after theatre workshop classes.
