    The next step up! Working around the grade 5 ISTD syllabus/level. This class is for those moving up from beginners or those with some previous ballet experience. Classes help build strength, flexibility and technique as well as subject knowledge.

  • Angels & Princesses

    30-minute introduction to ballet classes with expressive movement for 5-6 year olds.

    This fun-filled class begins with a warm-up followed by 15 minutes of ballet technique, then 10 mins of child-led special routines. The aim of junior classes is to develop co-ordination, listening skills and rhythmical awareness, with a lively sense of song and dance.

    Prices and payment

    First class free for newcomers. £6 per class on a pay-as-you-go basis.

    Please send your child’s fee in a distinctive purse. Correct amount is preferred but we will place change in purse if required. We recommend that you check change on collection of your child and report any errors.

    Children will be given a ‘sticker strip’ attached to their purse, which they should bring each week for rewards which can be exchanged for prizes twice per term.

    You can also pay for a full term of ten classes in one sum.

  • Dance Performers

    A 45-minute additional class for children who attend both ballet and modern classes.

    The aim of the class is to raise performance levels. Children attending this class will perform routines at the Parabola Arts Centre three times per year. The class is offered at Level 1 (ages 6-8) and level 2 (ages 8-13).

  • Silver Swans Ballet

    Silver Swans is an initiative set up by the Royal Academy of Dance to bring ballet to more mature dancers. The pace of the class allows plenty of time for learning and practising basic ballet movements. Ballet is fantastic for balance and strength, which are affected by the ageing process.
